CPDC Brian Kennedy:1989 Tiananmen Lesson=CCP Viciousness & USA Naiveté towards China.By Chapman Chen

Writer: Chapman ChenChapman Chen

Brian Kennedy, Chairman of The Committee on the Present Danger: China (CPDC), said on the 30th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre:- The lesson to be learnt from the Massacre is the vicious nature of the Chinese Communist Party and the collective naiveté of America and the West who believe that Tiananmen was an unfortunate detour in what was surely the road to political and economic modernization, that economic liberalization of China will lead to political liberalization. If there is a way to honor those who died in Tiananmen Square and those yearning for freedom in China, it is the vigilance of President Trump in helping this committee to educate the 300 million Americans about the true state of affairs in China.

Chairman Kennedy asserted that it is now clear that the CCP aims at destroying Western capitalism by disguising ruthless mercantilism, State intelligence collection and intellectual property theft as free market economy. What is more disturbing is the corruption of American business and political elites who defend PRC and lobby against President Trump's common-sense defense of American interests.

Chairman Kennedy pointed out that 1989 Tiananmen Massacre pales in comparison with the 7-million-lives-claiming Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution, as led by Chairman Mao, whose thoughts have inspired Xi Jinping. No one is above the CCP in China.

#CPDC Vice Chairman Frank Gaffney stressed that China is at present a much graver danger to America and the free world than #SovietUnion in the 1970s.
