If you have no compassion or empathy for innocent creatures of God, you are not a Christian per se, but a Satanist in essence. For God is love (1 John 4:7 NIV); God loves the world (John 3:16), including ALL His creation (Psalm 145:9); Christ is compassion (Matthew 12:6-7). These are the core of the Christian faith. Any attempt to harm God's creation unless in self-defence or in a life or death situation is anti-LOVE, anti-God, and anti-Christ.
