Everyday is Heavenly Father’s Day. By Dr Chapman Chen

Today (June 14) is Father’s Day. Oh, Heavenly Father! You care of us day by day. All creatures worship you on a daily basis, except us humans, who often fail to see your glory, your grace, and your compassion. Doves and eagles in the sky, goldfish in the lake, dolphins in the sea, lambs on the mountains, squirrels in the woods, and even ants in the soil pay homage to God moment by moment by aligning with His grand scheme. Thank you our Heavenly Father for creating all sentient beings so that we may experience the wonders of life. Thank you for condescending to become flesh so that we sentient beings and you are one.

Thank you our Heavenly Father for forgiving us again and again and again for going against your will, for abusing your creation, for violating your commandments. Thank you for implanting within each of us your Kingdom. Thank you for saving us from temptations, from evils, and from ignorance. May you will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We of our own self can do nothing; You the Father in us do all the works.

Thank you for providing for us when we are seeking the righteousness of your Kingdom. Thank you our Heavenly Father for calling us your children so that even when we are walking in the darkest valleys, we will not get frightened, so that we will not feel inferior even in the presence of emperors, presidents, queens, business tycoons….

Thank you Jesus Christ for teaching us how to re-link with God and to find the Kingdom of God, by serving His creatures, among others.

Everyday is Heavenly Father's Day. Hallelujah! Amen!
