Hong Kong is part of the free world; we share common values such as freedom and love. On June 12 Hong Kong police indiscriminately shot Hongkongers, foreigners and press. It is a plain anti-humanity Fascist crime. We wish civilized countries would speak out for Hong Kong at G 20 summit; we wish the international community would not repeat the mistake of 1939 Munich agreement, which allowed Nazi Germany to swallow Western Czechoslovakia. If the free world should indulge Fascist China to destroy Hong Kong, the Middle Kingdom will extend its totalitarianism to the rest of the world.
Therefore, we plead with the United States to enact the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act, and other civilized countries to pass similar laws, in order to sanction Hong Kong Government and Beijing officials for gross violation of human rights in Hong Kong. We are grateful to Prime Minister Abe of Japan for bringing up the Hong Kong issue with President Xi Jinping at the G 20 summit, and to nine German parliamentarians for urging Prime Minister Angela Merkel to defend HK autonomy at the summit.
