“He makes me lie down in green pastures… He restores my soul.” — Psalm 23:2–3

May our hands, folded in prayer,
become wings of mercy for the voiceless.
May our love, offered to Heaven,
be poured out upon every living creature.
May the Lord who watches over us
bless the lambs, the calves, the birds, the pigs—
not for slaughter, but for life, and life to the full.
We kneel not to rule,
but to remember.
Not to possess,
but to protect.
Let this be our vow:
To love as Christ loves—without exception.
To remember the animals—without end.
