Woe to You Who Feed on Blood! Ed. Dr. Chapman Chen

“Woe to you, obdurate in heart, who commit crime, and feed on blood. Whence [is it that] you feed on good things, drink, and are satiated? Is it not because our Lord, the Most High, has abundantly supplied every good thing upon earth? To you there shall not be peace.” (1 Enoch 96:20)
1 Enoch — the Ethiopic Book of Enoch, also referred to as "Ethiopian Enoch" or "The Apocalypse of Enoch" (Translation: Robert Henry Charles, Oxford, Clarendon, 1897
https://www.biblical.ie/page.php?fl=Apocrypha/Book_of_Enoch#_Toc202180479 ), is a collection of ancient Jewish Enochic writings (105 chapters), substantially from the last few centuries BCE and perhaps into the early first century CE. It survives completely in Geʿez (Ethiopic), with substantial portions also found in Aramaic among the Dead Sea Scrolls.
It contains the famous story of the Watchers (fallen angels), the Nephilim/giants, Azazel, and the origin of evil. When people simply say “the Book of Enoch,” they normally mean 1 Enoch.
